In today's customer spotlight series, Joe and Jenna Henry take us for a ride on their journey to starting their own smoothie business, Maui Smoothie Co. When life gave them starfruit, they juiced them and made a smoothie that keeps customers coming back for more!
Let’s explore the other milestones they’ve been able to accomplish since their launch in 2020.
Can you tell us a little about your business and how you got started?
We are the Henry's, a family of five. We began our journey with Maui Smoothie Co when Covid hit, impacting both of our careers. Being new-ish parents, we were concerned with what the future might hold and brainstormed alternative options for us to provide for our growing family, and thus, Maui Smoothie Co was born.
Being new parents, we created a couple of yummy smoothie creations under our belt that we were eager to share with the community. We are a health-based food company and grow most of our ingredients on our little farm watered by the Waiehu stream. We put our heart and soul into this company and hope you feel the love with every sip.
What are Some of the Goals for Maui Smoothie Co.?
Some of our goals are to add different flavors to our menu and one day have a brick and mortar or even a couple locations around Maui!
What Makes Maui Smoothie Co. Stand Out Above the Competition?
Maui Smoothie Co is a health-based smoothie company. We focus on using organically grown produce. We do not add sugars to our smoothies as the fruit is our own natural sweetener. When our customers come to us, they know they are fueling their bodies with low sugar healthy choices.
What Made You Choose Stomp for Product Labels and Canopy Items?
We decided to use Stomp because it was very user-friendly for a new entrepreneur. This being the first time I have ever needed to buy a custom tent or flags or even waterproof stickers, I was able to add our company’s artwork in very creative ways. I came across some issues with the image quality being too low and Stomp immediately sent me an email notifying me. We worked together and found a solution that was easy and very quick. They came out AMAZING! Our customers constantly tell us how great our canopy tent is and how nice everything looks. Not to mention STOMP ships to Hawaii!
