How Do You Support The LGBTQ+ Community in Sarasota?Â
Our mission is to expand awareness and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community by creating strategic partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and governments toward a shared goal.Â
To grow local enthusiasm, we installed a large 5-corner rainbow crosswalk in downtown Sarasota. Additionally, we also own the largest inclusive Pride flag in the world (700 feet!), which we regularly march across the Ringling Bridge to increase LGBTQ+ visibility.
How Do You Succeed as a Non-Profit?
The support of our community and our fantastic team of activists. Non-profit work is a labor of love, so having a team of passionate volunteers and supporters is essential for growth.
