How to Choose the Right Beer Can Box
Choosing the right box comes down to two things: your can size and your pack count. Match the box to the cans you sell, then choose the configuration that fits how you package, display, and sell each release.
Pick the Right Can Size
Start with the can format. Stomp offers beer can box options for:

Choose Your Pack Count
Next, choose the pack count that matches your product setup. Available options include 4-pack, 6-pack, and 12-pack beer can boxes, depending on the can size.
Use smaller packs for limited releases, mixed packs, taproom sales, and gifts. Use larger packs when you need more room for retail-ready beer packaging or a higher-volume release.
AB vs. POSE: What's the Difference?
AB and POSE refer to the box style and how the box is assembled or sealed.
- AB (Auto-Bottom): Best for breweries packing cans by hand. The bottom is pre-glued and locks into place when opened, so you can simply pop it open, load your cans, and close the top. It's the easiest option for manual filling.
- POSE (Partial Overlap Seal End): A better fit for automated packaging lines. Both ends are sealed after filling, making this the preferred choice for breweries using automatic filling and gluing equipment. POSE boxes can also be assembled by hand with glue if needed.
