When to Use the Eye Dropper
Use the eye dropper when you want text, shapes, backgrounds, or design elements to match a color that is already on your canvas. It is especially helpful when you are working from a logo, uploaded artwork, or a photo and want the rest of your design to feel more consistent.
Things to Keep in Mind
The eye dropper helps you match colors without manually entering color values. For the cleanest result, sample from a clear area of the color you want, especially when choosing from photos, textures, shadows, or artwork with lots of color variation.
