Creating QR Codes & Barcodes

QR codes and barcodes can be added directly to your design in the Stomp design tool. Use them to connect customers to menus, websites, product information, promotions, reorder pages, event details, or other useful destinations.

Because codes need to scan clearly, it is important to check placement, size, contrast, and destination accuracy before ordering custom stickers, labels, packaging, or other printed products.

How to Create a QR Code or Barcode

  • Open Images, QR & Barcodes.
  • Choose either QR Code or Barcode.
  • Enter the required information.
  • Generate the code.
  • Place and resize it on your canvas.

Things to Keep in Mind

Always test QR codes before ordering to make sure they scan and send people to the correct destination. If the code links to a website, confirm that the URL is final and working.

For the best chance of a clean scan, use strong contrast between the code and background. Avoid placing QR codes or barcodes over busy images, textured backgrounds, heavy transparency, or low-contrast colors.

Leave enough clear space around the code so it does not feel crowded by text, borders, artwork, or the edge of the design.
